do you have some questions?
Got a question? We’ve covered everything below — from ordering and sizing to embroidery, delivery, and trade accounts. Can’t find your answer? Call or email us and we’ll get back to you fast. We’re a small business and we actually pick up the phone.
No, you can check out as a guest. However, creating an account lets you track orders, save your delivery addresses, and access your order history — which is handy if you’re ordering regularly for your team. For trade customers placing recurring bulk orders, we’d recommend a trade account (see the Trade Accounts section below).
Yes. Our website uses SSL encryption and all card payments are processed via secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways. We don’t store your card details on our servers.
We aim to be competitive on price across all our products. If you find the same item cheaper at another UK retailer, get in touch and we’ll do our best to match or beat it. This applies to like-for-like products from authorised stockists — just send us a link to the listing.
Embroidery stitches your logo or text directly into the fabric using thread. It’s highly durable, looks premium, and is ideal for workwear, uniforms, and jackets — especially where garments take a lot of wear. Logos tend to be smaller (chest or cap placement).
Printing applies ink directly to the garment. It’s great for full-colour logos, large back prints, and designs with gradients or fine detail. Modern print finishes are wash-fast and long-lasting. Printing is typically more cost-effective for larger quantities with complex artwork.
Not sure which is right for you? Send us your logo and we’ll advise — no obligation.
- Embroidery: .AI, .EPS, .PDF, or high-res PNG (300dpi+). We convert your artwork into a stitch file in-house.
- Print: .AI, .EPS, .PDF, or high-res PNG/JPEG (at least 300dpi at the intended print size).
Common placement options include:
- Left chest (most popular for logos)
- Right chest
- Centre chest or full front
- Left or right sleeve
- Full back or upper back
- Hood or collar area
When adding customisation during checkout, you can specify your preferred placement. If you’d like artwork in multiple positions, just let us know and we’ll quote accordingly.
Standard turnaround for embroidered or printed garments is 5–10 working days from artwork approval. Larger orders may take a little longer. If you have a deadline — a site start date, event, or handover — tell us upfront and we’ll do everything we can to hit it. Rush orders may be possible depending on capacity.
Will I see a proof before you start?
Yes — always. We’ll send you a digital proof showing how your logo will look on the garment before any stitching or printing begins. We won’t start production until you’ve reviewed and approved it. Your satisfaction matters more than a fast turnaround.
Yes — personalisation with individual names, roles, or numbers is something we can accommodate alongside your logo. This is popular with trade teams, delivery drivers, and site-specific kit. Just include the personalisation details in your order notes or get in touch to discuss.
We deliver across the UK, including mainland England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Some remote areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands, offshore islands) may carry a surcharge or extended delivery time — this will be displayed at checkout.
We offer free standard delivery on orders over a set threshold — see the banner at the top of our site for the current threshold. For smaller orders, a flat-rate delivery charge applies at checkout. Express and next-day options are also available for an additional fee.
For in-stock items without customisation, standard delivery is typically 3–5 working days. Express next-day delivery is available on most items if ordered before our cut-off time (shown at checkout). For branded/embroidered orders, see the turnaround times in the Embroidery & Printing section above.
Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to track your parcel in real time. If you don’t receive this within your expected dispatch window, check your spam folder or contact us.
Yes. If you need deliveries split across multiple addresses — for instance, different site locations or depots — we can arrange this for larger orders. Just contact us before placing your order so we can confirm any additional delivery costs and logistics.
We accept returns on unworn, unwashed items in their original condition and packaging within 30 days of delivery. Simply contact us with your order number and reason for return and we’ll guide you through the process.
Please note: Personalised or embroidered/printed items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or were produced incorrectly — this is standard across the industry as the garments are made specifically for you.
If anything arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. We’ll arrange a replacement or full refund as quickly as possible — no quibble. This includes any embroidery or printing errors that are our fault.
Yes — if you’ve ordered the wrong size (for non-customised items), we’re happy to exchange. Contact us first so we can confirm stock availability, then return the original item in unused condition. The cost of returning items to us is covered by the customer unless the item is faulty.
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, refunds are processed within 3–5 working days. Depending on your bank, it may take a further 2–3 days to appear in your account.
Yes — each product page includes a size guide specific to that garment and brand. Because different brands size differently (TuffStuff fits differently to Fort, for example), we recommend checking the guide for each item rather than assuming your usual size. If in doubt, go up a size — workwear tends to be worn over base layers and needs room for movement.
Many of our brands offer extended sizing including tall, short-leg, and plus sizes. Filter by size on the category pages or check individual product listings — available sizes are clearly shown. If you need something specific that isn’t showing on the site, contact us and we’ll check stock with our suppliers.
Absolutely. Simply add each size to your basket in the quantities you need. If you’re ordering branded garments in multiple sizes, just indicate each size and quantity when you add the customisation details. We handle mixed-size team orders regularly — it’s no problem at all.
Yes. We offer volume pricing tiers — the more you order, the lower your cost per garment. Pricing tiers are shown on product pages (e.g. 5+, 10+, 25+ units). For very large orders or ongoing supply arrangements, get in touch directly for a custom quote.
That’s exactly what we’re set up for. Whether it’s five people on a small site or 50+ across multiple depots, we can supply and brand a complete uniform package — workwear, hi-vis, PPE, and footwear — with your logo on. We’ll work with you on garment selection, sizes, and delivery logistics. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Invoice/credit terms are available for established trade customers on request. We’ll need a few basic business details and may require references for first-time account credit. Contact us before placing your order to arrange this — we won’t be able to convert a placed order to invoice terms retrospectively.
We stock a focused range of trusted workwear brands including TuffStuff, Fort, and System Hi-Vis, as well as a wider selection across categories. We deliberately stock brands that offer genuine durability for real working environments — not fashion-led alternatives that won’t last a site season. Browse by brand in the navigation to see what we stock.
Quite possibly. We work with a number of suppliers and can often source items that aren’t listed on the site. Get in touch with as much detail as possible (brand, product name/code if known, quantity needed) and we’ll come back to you with availability and pricing.
Many of our workwear garments are rated for industrial laundering — check individual product descriptions for wash care ratings. If you operate a laundry service or need garments certified for repeated industrial washing, look for items with EN ISO 15797 compliance or contact us for recommendations.
Is your hi-vis clothing EN ISO 20471 certified?
Yes — our hi-visibility garments meet the current EN ISO 20471 standard (which replaced EN471). Class ratings (1, 2, or 3) are clearly indicated on product pages. Class 3 is the highest level, covering the torso and limbs, and is required for high-risk environments such as road and rail works. Check the product description for the class rating before purchasing.
This is an important question. Covering significant areas of retroreflective tape or fluorescent fabric with embroidery or large print can affect a garment’s CE/EN certification. We only apply customisation to areas that don’t compromise the safety specifications of the garment. We’ll advise you if your requested placement poses a compliance issue.
Yes. Since January 2021, PPE sold in Great Britain must carry the UKCA mark (replacing the CE mark for GB market goods). Our PPE products meet current UK regulatory requirements. Northern Ireland continues to accept CE-marked goods under the Windsor Framework. If you need specific compliance documentation for your HSE records, contact us and we’ll supply the relevant certificates.
Yes. Wash care instructions are on the garment label and also listed on product pages. If you need formal compliance documentation, safety data, or technical specification sheets for a product — for example, for a site audit or COSHH records — contact us with the product name and we’ll provide what we can from the manufacturer.
